An entry leaves the live calendar when there is nothing left for a court to do and enough time has passed that it is no longer news. That is a housekeeping decision, not a retraction. Nothing here has been withdrawn, corrected away, or found to be wrong.
Reader demand plays no part in what gets archived and what stays. If a matter is still open, still awaiting a ruling, or still inside its appeal window, it belongs on the live calendar and it stays there, however quiet it has become.

Pleaded guilty April 8, 2026, before Justice Timothy P. Mazzei to three counts of first-degree murder and four counts of second-degree murder, and was sentenced June 17, 2026, to three consecutive terms of life without parole plus a consecutive 100 years to life.
The victims are Melissa Barthelemy, Maureen Brainard-Barnes, Amber Costello, Megan Waterman, Jessica Taylor, Sandra Costilla, and Valerie Mack; he also allocuted to the uncharged killing of Karen Vergata, which the plea covered. He waived his right to appeal on the record at the plea hearing. There is no upcoming court date in this case.
