Our work follows one rule above every other: help the victims, and never create new ones by helping send an innocent person to prison or ruin a life. These resources are part of that commitment. If you are in immediate danger, call 911.

Standing with the wrongfully convicted

We support the work of the Innocence Project and the broader Innocence Network — organizations that use DNA evidence and post-conviction review to exonerate people who were wrongly convicted, and that push for the reforms in eyewitness identification, interrogation, and forensic science that prevent those errors in the first place. A wrongful conviction is two injustices at once: an innocent person loses their life to a cell, and the person who actually committed the crime stays free. Caring about victims means caring about that, too — it is why presumption of innocence runs through everything we publish.
